January 31, 2018 brings us a a Super Moon in the sign of the lion. The latter will also be nicknamed “Blue Moon” because it is the second full moon of the month, which is rare, the lunar cycle being 28 days. Moreover, we also call it “Blood Moon” by its total eclipse. Attention, it’s gonna be shaky!
Why Super Moon? Because it will be very close to the Earth, with a higher visibility and energetic effects all the stronger.
The term “Blood Moon” is used to describe a series of three or more Total Lunar Eclipses, and its name comes from the fact that a Total Eclipse gives the moon a faint red glow. They are quite rare, and we have not had one since 2015! We will have a new one later in 2018 and another in 2019.
Finally it is also a “Blue Moon”, when two Full Moons succeed in the same month, the second is called a Blue Moon. It is also an extremely rare event, which makes this eclipse particularly significant. 2018 will bring us two “Blue Moons”!
The last combined Eclipse of a “Blue Moon” and “Blood Moon” was 36 years ago … this type of Eclipse in the sign oft he Lion is extremely rare and has not occurred for hundreds or even thousands of years!
This powerful moon will not only help solve and close the last half of 2017, it will also open and activate a new energy with which we will all work until the next eclipses, in July and August 2018.
Eclipses often bring turning points in our daily lives. They are often generators of change and illuminate areas of our lives that need attention.
This Moon placed in the fire sign of the Lion will guide us to take charge of our lives and to enter into this role of being the King or Queen of our own jungle.
