From a ‘nice to have’ project emerged an Instagram page which today, invites thousands of people to discover the beauty of Mother Earth and encourage them to contribute to its conservation.
Discover Earth came into existence in January 2013. My travels around the world and acquaintance with numerous photographers as well as with the fashion blogger Kristina Bazan, who went to the same school as me, motivated me to launch a world discovery site. Today, Discover Earth already counts almost two and a half million followers. People who like me love nature, photographers who got known thanks to Discover Earth and who nowadays can make a living from photography. A well-run Instagram page is treated like a Curriculum Vitae. It helps me travel, get to learn always more about our wonderful world and demonstrate it. My wish is that people have a greater relationship to nature, a nature they respect and want to protect. One of my goals with Discover Earth is to contribute to the conservation of our world by supporting projects which fight climate change, deforestation and waste trashing into the sea. I would like to be a mouthpiece for renewable energies, to propose sustainable consumption and to raise consciousness regarding the conservation of our planet. Together, we can get things moving! Our followers have the same values as we do and when I imagine what we could all get started, when we all gather our strengths…
We offer photography courses in the most idyllic spots together with community photographers. And yes, I would like to encourage people through Discover Earth to do the things which make them happy, to investigate the world, to dream and to discover.
