Chicago, here we are!
On September 28th, the winner of the world’s largest action and adventure sports photography competition will be announced in the Millenium Park Chicago. At an event, which has already brought many photographers to fame, such as Chris Burkhard, to name only one! For the 3rd time, Red Bull Illume, invited sports photographers from all around the world to submit their most stunning images for their 11 different categories. 5’654 photographers from 120 countries have responded to the call, and 55 Topimages made it to the Art Institute of Chicago.
The award ceremony is the solemn opening of a traveling exhibition of 55 the finalist images that will travel the world until mid-2018, with 2×2 m large light boxes.
