Malvin Richard, Lukas Lüscher and Serena Britos turned their story of friendship and their love for travelling into a new amazing adventure. Not long ago, the swiss trio started developing the idea of merging their favourite places and memories in a series of “Natural Terroir Perfumes” out of 100% natural essence. This is how their brand Richard Lüscher Britos was born, very naturally… Through alchemical aromatic combinations they invite us travel to magic places. “We traveled around the world in search of special places with exceptional fragrances: the Terroirs. The “Terroir” is the soul of our perfumes. Its ingredients are born out of the interaction between climate, soil, landscape and local culture. These elements, when combined, portray something bigger than the sum of its parts: a unique place with a unique personality and character”, they explain. Through our sense of smell we’re captured and taken to the Gardenias of Colombia, to Italy and its Bergamot then to Wild Lavender Fields in the South of France and again we go… reaching the sultry fragrance of Madagascar’s Ylang Ylang and the fresh Nana Mint perfect as a tea as well as in a Perfume. “By traveling in search of our fantastic Terroirs, we saw enchanting landscapes, learned about plants and their cultivation and worked in close contact with farmers and harvesters. Traveling opened our eyes to the beauty of nature but also to its dark sides: we saw first-hand the difficulties of small farmers and of “clean” production. So we made a deal, between us and with all the people we work with: to be fair, transparent and natural”.
